Orefields invests due to extensive assignments to Outokumpu Chemistry Mine.

Outokumpu Kemi Mine in Finland has decided to open a new main level in its underground chrome mine. Orefields has negotiated with the mining company for drilling 18 shafts and a couple of weeks ago, the parties agreed on a contract. This is Orefield’s largest contract covering a total of 5,700 meters of drilling with an average diameter of about 4 meters and will employ two drilling rigs for three years. The work will start in January 2018, which means that Orefields grows as we invest in a further drill rig and employ another four operators in the spring.
